Flange Rising Stem Fire Gate Valve
* One type of valve commonly used to control water flow to fire sprinkler systems is known as an OS&Y gate valve. OS&Y means “outside stem and yoke” or "outside screw and yoke".
* OS&Y gate valves operate by opening and closing via a gate, which lowers into or rises out of the valve. Raising the gate allows water to flow through the valve while lowering the gate cuts off the water flowing through the valve. When fully open, the typical gate valve has no obstruction in the flow path, resulting in very low friction loss.
* The rising stem provides a clear visual indication of the valve position, allowing operators to easily determine whether the valve is open or closed. The flanged ends ensure a robust and reliable connection to the pipeline, minimizing the risk of leaks. Additionally, gate valves are ideal for applications where minimal pressure drop is desired, as they provide straight-line flow with low friction loss.

- Precision-machined valve stem, reduces operating torque.
- Non-toxic powder epoxy resin spraying on botn inside and outside of the valve to enhance corrosion resistance and improve water quality.
- The valve plate is covered with rubber both inside and outside to guaranteed good sealing. It has strong connection to avoid fall off after long-term use.
- Thrust bearings reduce frictional resistance and reduce operating torque.
