UL FM fire sprinkler heads usually use glass balls filled with organic solutions with a relatively high coefficient of thermal expansion as thermal sensitive elements. At normal temperature, the glass ball shell can withstand a certain supporting force to ensure the sealing of the nozzle. When a fire breaks out and the temperature rises, the organic solution inside the glass ball expands due to heat, generating a significant internal pressure until the outer shell of the glass ball breaks, thus opening the nozzle to spray water.
It is generally assembled from a copper alloy frame, glass balls, seals, glass ball seats, set screws and splash trays, etc.UL FM Fire Sprinkler Head is a precision-engineered, life-saving device.
